Eating good food isn't just about things that taste delicious, it's about nourishing your body. Everything you put in your body affects your skin. Whether it's the food you eat or the drinks you drink, your skin reflects your diet.


At the top of the list, and one of my personal favorites, is A V O C A D O S. Because they are high in healthy fats, avocados help your skin stay flexible and moisturized. Next on the list is a summertime favorite - W A T E R M E L O N. "Though it may sound counterintuitive, the high concentration of water in watermelon can actually reduce the water retention that leads to puffiness around the eyes," says Dr. Baumann. In need of a little skin firming?

D A R K C H O C O L A T E is here to save the day with flavonols, a very potent antioxidant. Make sure you select a dark chocolate that is at least 70% cocoa to stay away from additional sugars that are actually terrible for your skin!
