I'm Dani, a color specialist, & editorial stylist in San Francisco, and a 6-year vet in the beauty industry. My background is Aveda, so plant-based ingredients and environmental sustainability are a must. My days behind the chair are filled with color corrections, balayage, extensions, and smoothing treatments. When I'm not behind the chair, I style hair for editorial shoots or create photoshoot projects of my own (or you might find me at Sephora where I work as a licensed consultant). I have a passion for high fashion editorial art - hair (and makeup) is my medium.

Tip #1: Pre-Book & Patience

Coming out of quarantine is going to be whack, let's be honest. One thing that's going to be different is how we service in the salon. With new guidelines from the CDC, appointments might be limited. This means dry cuts & no washes, and possibly no blow dries either. Sorry folks! My best advice is to pre-book your appointment so you can make sure to get in and have adequate time to relax. There will not be time for squeeze-ins anymore. Things are temporary, and rules are always changing. Be patient and flexible, and remember, we want to see you just as bad!

Tip #2: Minimalism

With our economy on the fritz, we might not be able to afford everything we want. I predict trends are going to lean more towards the minimal, softer, natural styles. For the more daring, try easier at home maintenance styles. I love using temporary at-home dyes (check out Overtone) to spice up any faded fun color or to try something new! Looking for a fast track to healthier hair? Minimalism. Brush your hair and use good products: oils, treatment masks, and/or some dry shampoo if you get an oily scalp.
