How does oily skin affect your microblading?
Alongside pre-care & after-care, your skin type has the biggest affect on your healed microblading results. Because of this, microblading isn't always the best choice for everybody.
The skin type that can affect microblading the most is oily, which can be seen in widened healed strokes and faster fading. This doesn't mean that people with oily skin can't get microblading. It just means that the artist will have to take extra precaution with stroke placement, and there is a risk of blurred healed strokes. At MicroLuxe Brows, you can expect a level of skill that allows flexibility in stroke placement and proper depth. A good alternative to microblading for oily skin: Ombre/Powder Brows.

Your healed results may be softer or blurred if you have oily skin. The oil in the skin can cause the color to spread over time.

It's standard to need to touch up your microblading every 1-2 years, but with oily skin your brows may require more frequent touch ups.
